These are Elementary Swahili students who participated in the 2014
African Language Initiative (AFLI) Program, at the University of
Florida. Having studied Swahili for about six weeks, they decided to
film this short movie to commemorate their beautiful moments in this
program, with their great instructors:In this movie, students suggest that they bring Diamond Platnumz, the
current number one East African artist, to Gainesville, Florida.
Everything goes pretty well, in the beginning. In the end,
unfortunately, Diamond fails to make it to Gainesville due to flight
cancellation. What will the students? How will they quench the thirsty
of the Bongo Flava fans who showed up to see Diamond and dance with him?
