Kitaaolojia album is about what’s happening on the streets and inspires the youth to be in control of their lives. It features 10 songs including Ielewe Mitaa, Neno featuring Lord Eyez, Sihitaji Marafiki featuring Yvonne Mwale from Zambia, Siri ya Mchezo featuring Juma Nature, Bendera ya Chuma with Ben Pol and Bongo Hip Hop with the producer P Funk Majani. FID Q has also worked with BET Nominated Kenyan group Sauti Sol in a song that will feature in Kitaaolojia album.
“The first album Vina Mwanzo Kati na Mwisho was about FID Q’s prose and writing. Propaganda was a political album. Now Kitaaolojia edutai nes.
It highlights FID Q’s motive to help youth and the young people from
the street to make sense of their lives,” said a statement from his
management.
Welcome
to a chilled-out affair with the FID Q nicknamed “The Swahili Kid” by
New York hip hop artist Fat Joe. Gates open at 8:00 p.m. Entrance Free.
Good vibes. FID Q will also play some of his past songs from the other
albums. He will be joined on the decks by Kenya’s DJ Finalkut.

Farid
Kubanda, best known as FID Q is a Tanzanian musician whose genre of
music is Bongo Flava. He is this year part of 28 African stars chosen to
feature in Coke Studio Africa and is set to collaborate with an artist
from Uganda in a mash-up style. With his appearance on Coke Studio
Africa, a massive following at home, and a new album ready for release;
Fid Q is set for a grand introduction to the rest of Africa this year.

associated with showcasing of global hip hop talent in Kenya.
